After this uniquely coloured year of Corona (and all the attendant challenges), HKB Jazz re-condenses into non-pixellated form to present five nights of world-premieres: students sparring with teachers, compositions wet from the press, the culmination of intense research into solo and small group playing. Bern’s hippest new nightspot, Prozess, provides the location, and creates the perfect ambience to inspire what jazz has always done best – capturing the Zeitgeist whilst looking to the future.
